Koi Runners

This is taken directly from my IG but i thought it was a cool story.

My thought process for this is : while working at home, I began thinking about how overall efficient it’s been. Less meetings, less steps (movement), more face time with the computer. This generates productivity to a certain degree.

Well, this reminded me of when we would go work at our (Vibram’s) beautiful china facility. Being there saves time, as youre able to accomplish so much work while being surrounded by the key players of the product process and on top of that feeding off the energy of the people there.

Then I thought about this little pond of koi fish our owner put into the campus. They’re always so colorful and beautiful. Then I did some research on Koi fish and wanted to turn them into shoes. And then I looked up facts about Koi fish.

1. Koi fish and goldfish are actually distant cousins

2. Theyre omnivores and will eat anything you give them (even watermelon)

3. 24 different varieties of koi

4. They brilliant colors actually attract prey so it’s hard for them to survive in the wild

5. They resemble persistence, determination, wealth, success and good fortune
