Days off are such an incredible concept. They’re given to us to support or highlight someone elses achievements or beliefs.

Today is presidents day. Have no understanding why I have the day off. Now, I am tremendously grateful that I do because it’s an extra day to reset and rejuvenate myself - which is massively needed.

And even when I say rejuvenate, my meaning is that I take things slower than normal. I’m able to wake up a little later, go to the gym for a little longer, drink more cups of coffee, attack my checklist and get around to real life shit like bills.

But these days off have been the same for as long as I can remember or as long as I’ve been on this earth. We should really consider changing those every quarter century or something to adopt to the times.
