The first full day back to work after what felt like an on and off three weeks of vacation time. It felt good, honestly. As I wrote about yesterday, that energy from the turn of the calendar is transpired not only in my personal life but also professionally. Excited to get back at it and start creating new things again.

I do keep thinking, and I really shouldnt, about the idea if we live another year similar to the way we’ve lived the past 9 months. Working from home, not really traveling anywhere, not really seeing too many people, etc.

It’s such a real possibility. I’m worried about how quick the burn out will come again for not only myself, but others around me.

Another thing I did today was take a phone call from a student who reached out via Linkedin. Whenever this happens, I never know who they are or what their intentions are, how devoted they are to asking intellectual questions, etc. I’m happy to report that this person was doing the right things, reaching out with the right questions.

I write about this for two reasons: one, it’s nice to see kids have a good head on their shoulders and want to reach out to industry professionals for support. And two, because if youre reading this and you dont share your knowledge and support others, please start. Its vital to our world - to give back what weve learned. I truly believe it helps the world go round.
