Never be satisfied.
Well… thats probably not good advice. Thats definitely case by case and person by person. Let me rephrase: I’m never satisfied. I realized this lately. Everything that I’m putting forward to some people is great, but as soon as one person doesn’t feel the same way I’m not satisfied with whatever I put out.
For example: I teach painting classes as a part time job. I worked a 35 person session, and everyone had a great time. But there was one review where someone didnt like the music I played. 1 bad review out of 35 is pretty good - in Uber ratings thats probably a 4.8. But for some reason it absolutely bugs the shit out of me. That I made one person not have a good time or not enjoy one aspect of what I do.
It’s impossible to be perfect, but when I reflect on it I think that those types of things are in my control. Maybe I’m just not satisfied. They do say that 1 bad thing resonates more than 100 good things.
