Look ma, we made it to a museum…

As an artist myself, this project combines two massive creative cores of mine - art and footwear.
Absolute pinch me moment to be able to design and develop the silhouette, work with the museum
on artwork selection, and story telling the works through the sneakers and the apparel garments.

The cracked leather on the sneaker resembles the cracking of the artwork screens, the blue
bold laces and leather lace tab represent the Hallyu exhibit, artworks selected from the
19th century Joseon period, collaborative tongue label and footbed. The green or celadon
hoodie is custom dyed to match vases from that period of Korean art.
