After over 50 flights last year, i’m at the airport wrapping up my first trip of 2020.
I was talking to some of my coworkers about my trip home. I’m in Denver, flying to LA, just to fly back to Boston overnight on a red eye.
Everyone knows red eyes suck. Theres a reason they are called red eyes.
Once I land in Boston at 6am I have to drive to Connecticut for my dads birthday.
So why did I take this crazy travel back home? Because I’m a miles guy. I haven’t paid for a vacation flight in 3 years. Delta takes care of me. So I would rather have a layover out of the way and get those miles in there.
It’s a long term strategy.
